Options and prices
The house is fully equipped - from a corkscrew to a cooking pot, you will find all the cooking and eating utensils you need. The kitchen was completely renovated in 2025 and is equipped with 6 hotplates, a frying plate, a large oven and a commercial dishwasher.
There is a maximum of 8 rooms. All rooms are equipped with beds (all mattresses have been replaced in 2025) and have direct access to a bathroom (toilet/shower). You can decide how many rooms you want to use, depending on your budget and preferences.
The self-catering accommodation is functionally and comfortably furnished. Guests can bring their own bed linen, terry towels, toilet paper, and tea towels, or they can be rented from Holzwälder Höhe for a fee upon prior reservation.
Prices
The prices include the following services: overnight accommodation, cleaning and use of the common room and kitchen.
Minimum stay: 1 night during the week, 2 nights on weekends and holidays, Christmas/New Year's Eve on request.

Is the property fenced in?
No, there is no fence around the property.
Is there a big playground on the property?
The house has no big playground. The playground of the Waldkulturhauses is a 5 min walk away.
Is the house a "party house"?
The house is situated in a quiet part of the village and the german law prohibits loud noises (music, shouting etc.) after 10 pm.
The ground floor of the house is very soundproof - therefore it is no issue to sit there until the early hours and listen to music in an appropriate volume.
The house does not have a ban on alcohol. I rely on my guests´ common sense and responsible consumption of alcohol. Should a situation escalate, I reserve the right to remove guests from the premises without compensation.

Tired of lugging crates of drinks? Getränke Eckle in Bad Rippoldsau Dorf delivers directly to the house. You will find a wide selection of water, soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits.
The associated Restaurant Schlüssel offers an excellent catering and the restaurant is also worth a visit for culinary delights.
